AI Summary: This GitHub issue highlights a problem where the current type model forces the creation of new type IDs for "one-off" objects or minor variations, leading to "type bloat." It argues that extending objects with extra data currently requires defining new types, causing redundancy and maintenance issues. The issue proposes exploring whether type information could be associated directly with an object to address this inflexibility.
